Utilizing procedure-based education*, this level focuses on expanding the scope of implant options from single implant scenarios to anterior and posterior multi-unit fixed partial dentures.
Throughout this level, the courses cover topics including:
At the completion of this level, participants will understand multi-unit fixed partial denture cases. Participants are encouraged to continue their education in Level 5, which will focus on full-arch removable implant overdentures.
*The implant curriculum is an interactive, procedure-based series of courses that use individual cases to teach current implant treatment. This approach is in contrast to conventional dental education that focuses more on didactic topics and theory. The purpose of using this educational approach is to highlight the patients and procedures found in everyday clinical practice, where the most important concepts are observed and discussed in multiple clinical scenarios.

Dr. Bryan Limmer obtained his dental degree from Harvard University in 2009. He then continued his education at the University of North Carolina by completing a three-year residency in prosthodontics, earning both a specialist certificate and master’s degree in 2012. Following residency, Dr. Limmer completed an additional one-year surgical implant fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
Upon moving to Colorado in 2013, Dr. Limmer started a private prosthodontic practice, which he maintained through the end of 2020. Dr. Limmer then transitioned out of private practice and assumed the role of Clinical Director/Chief Operating Officer at Stanbrick Dental Services in 2021. Additionally, Dr. Limmer serves on the Colorado State Dental Board and holds a faculty appointment at Harvard University. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Limmer has lectured extensively and written multiple peer-reviewed articles on various prosthodontic topics, including edentulous therapy, zirconia biomaterials, and digital technology.
Dr. Mark Ludlow is the Section Head of Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. He completed his DMD dental training at the University of Connecticut and received his MS in prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina. As a practicing and teaching prosthodontist, Dr. Ludlow’s passion is in the development and integration of digital technology in the practice of everyday implant and restorative dentistry.
